    Covering UFC 96

I have a passion for is sports photography. For the last three years I have covered the sport of mixed-martial arts, or MMA. The UFC is the top of professional organizations that sanctions fights. Some people call it cage fighting, but it can be done in a regular ring too. It is a combination of wrestling, boxing, judo, kick-boxing and many other fighting methods, but with strict rules like no blows to the groin, back of the head or eye gouges. The challenge in covering the sport is the cage. I have previously tried to get photos that minimized the cage. But someone recently called me up that wanted photos with the cage integral to the photo. So I guess having the cage is important. Now I think about trying to get some photos that show the cage.
